The Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects Starboard summer 2011/12 SUP Demo Tour has drawn to a close. It was a huge success and I would like Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects to thank everyone that contributed to it.
The tour set out from Perth in November and travelled through SA and VIC Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects conducting some great demos in Adelaide and Torquay before being joined by international Starboard Dream Team rider Annabel Anderson in Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects Melbourne.
From Melbourne we headed for the annual Merimbula Classic. Once again we had a great time at this event. This Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects year we were an even bigger presence than usual and had by far the biggest SUP presence. Our team consisted Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects of Annabel Anderson, Rod Hindson, Scott Penwarn, Matt Lumley, Michelle England, Marci Gribi and myself. We had 27 boards available Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects for demo and catered for a variety of people from seasoned paddlers keen to try our huge and varied range Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects to inexperienced or first time paddlers wetting their toes so to speak and sampling the sport.
Prior to and during the Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects event a promo video was being shot. Check out the results at ttp://vimeo.com/32835450 and the outtakes at http://vimeo.com/32836051
At the Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects conclusion of the Merimbula Classic Annabel and I set off once again with a busy schedule of clinics, demos and Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects events ahead of us. We revisited VIC for the Starboard Great Melbourne Paddle as well as Annabel holding some great Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects clinics, before heading north to NSW. Making stops in Sydney, through the Central and North Coasts to Coffs Harbour where Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects we showcased the 2012 Starboard SUP range and Annabel shared tips and techniques.
After the 20 Beaches event in Sydney Annabel Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects headed home to New Zealand for Christmas and I headed to the Gold Coast in Queensland where I left our Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects eastern states demo trailer with Scott before heading back to Perth.
Upon returning to Perth we continued local demos while Rod Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects in NSW continued spreading the stoke travelling up and down the coast with his demo trailer and our SUP retailers Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects maintained their demo programs also.
We received a great response to the tour and had a fantastic time visiting so many Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects places, meeting heaps of people and showcasing the 2012 Starboard range. We have quite a few new boards in the Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects range this year and were pleased to collect a lot of positive and useful feedback. We relished introducing so many Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects people to the sport of SUP.
All those who attended a demo or clinic completed a form entering them into a Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects draw to win a brand new Starboard SUP board and paddle of their choosing up to a value up to Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects $2,000.
The competition was drawn on April 2nd and the winner is:

If you didn’t get the chance Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects to attend a demo or clinic, remember that your local Starboard SUP retailer has demo boards for you to try Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects and we will continue to do demos throughout the season.

From the 23rd to the 25th of March we held demos at the Hillary’s Boat Show in Perth.
We set up Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects on a great little beach inside the marina and laid out around 20 SUP boards. There was a wide variety Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects of boards available for demo ranging from 8” to 11” as well as some race boards.
The weather Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects was great and we had a large number of people come down and try the boards. We had a variety Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects of paddlers attend the demo’s experienced, first timers, adults, teenagers and even whole families. The experienced paddlers took the opportunity Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects to try some of our high performance boards whilst the first timers used our all round boards gaining a feel Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects for the sport and what sort of board suited them.
With the boating theme Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects in mind we also included a couple of Astro Inflatable SUPs. These boards are the ultimate tender as well as Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects an all-round versatile board suitable for travel, fitness, surfing, exploring and even white water rafting.
The Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects weekend was a great success and once again we enjoyed meeting so many people, and sharing in their enjoyment of Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects the sport.

Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects Starboard cemented its place as the fastest race boards on the water at this year’s Doctor race. Taking out 1st, Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects 2nd and 4th in the 14” class as well as 1st and 2nd in the 12’6” category and 1st in Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects the ladies, there was no disputing Starboards dominance.
In January we were the Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects major sponsor of Australia’s premier long distance SUP race. Starting at Rottnest Island off the coast of Perth for the Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects 27.5km ocean paddle back to Sorrento beach on the mainland the Doctor has become renowned both nationally and internationally and Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects this year drew competitors from across the country and abroad.
In town Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects for the event was international Starboard Dream Team riders Connor Baxter, Bart DeZwart and Annabel Anderson along with national riders Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects Lincoln Dews and Sam Parker. Together we motored over to Rotto in the Starboard support boat which later became the race Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects support boat. After dropping the competitors in the water for the start we went ahead to guide the field from Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects a hundred or so meters in front. Lead boat duties allowed us the advantage to witness the action at the Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects top of the competition.
In Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects his usual way, Connor opened it up from the start pulling a gap on the rest of the competitors on Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects his 14”x25” Starboard Ace. Gradually the field thinned out and small packs formed. In Connor’s company and riding identical Ace Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects boards were Bart de Zwart and quiet achiever Sam Parker from Sydney. Queensland’s Lincoln Dews who at just fifteen was Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects the youngest paddler in the mix was also there on a 12’6”x27’5” Race. Annabel held her own paddling in her Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects accustomed powerful style staying not too far from the lead pack. Over the next 15–20 kilometers Sam and Connor swapped Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects places in the lead a dozen or so times, but Connor
always came back. Around two kilometers out, Connor turned on Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects the gas and pulled out a break of a couple of minutes for the win and crossed the line in Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects 2 hours and 46 minutes. Sam crossed 2nd a couple of minutes later with Bart not long behind in 4th. Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects Lincoln secured an impressive 8th overall as he claimed 1st in the 12’ 6 division while Annabel was the first Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects lady home and notably 13th overall.
To say Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects the conditions were hard would be a gross understatement with temperatures nearing forty degrees and a persistent crosswind forcing competitors Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects to paddle predominately on their right. But Starboard and its
riders rose to the challenge blowing the competition away to sweep Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects the field.
It was a hard race and a great effort by all that competed.

The Demo Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects Tour continued this weekend when I took the Demo Trailer down to Cronulla to meet up with Todd and the Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects boys from the Cronulla
Standup Paddleboard Shop for their monthly demo day.
A large crew showed up to demo not just the race boards, but all the boards in the range..
With a strong crew Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects getting into downwind runs the 14″ Open Ocean was popular with great feed back from all who paddled it.
There was a lot of interest in the 8′ 2 Wide Point from the surf crew!!!!
Thanks again to Todd, Steve, John and all who showed up for making it a great day.

Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects Well once again the big drive across the Nullabor, this time it was pretty easy, due to not towing and Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects a fairly easy schedule.
Passed what must of been hundreds of Harleys heading for Margies for a huge get together.
In Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects South Australia I stopped and had a bit of a chat with a Storm Tropper that was walking from Perth Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects to Sydney, got a picture of him and Dave Muir.
Thinking what a long way Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects it is to drive from Perth to the East Coast, but walking in a Storm Trooper costume is a bloody Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects long way. I started to wonder haw Paul Langbein was going on his Starboard K15 supping 2500km down the Murray Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects River. I checked out his website http://www.supthemurray.com and found that he was overnight upriver from Morgan, so headed for Morgan. Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects My first stop was to go and “..ask the ferryman” if he had seen a SUP, apparently Paul had gone Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects past at about 1.00PM. I realised my chances wern’t good, but went for a drive down the West side of Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects the river then back up to Morgan on the East side, ahh well it was a long shot, worth a Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects try.
Congratulations to Paul finaly finishing his 2,500km journey on the 22nd of November.

The Demo Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects Tour Trailer rocked up to Huskisson on Sunday of the long weekend for a Demo day with the crew from Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects Aquatique.
Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects Rod meet up with Arnold in the car park 1hr before the advertised start time to find Steve and some Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects of the other local crew waiting in the pouring rain ready to GO!!
Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects The south coast crew proved they really are a hard core bunch by showing up in mass to try the Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects Starboard range, despite a howling southerly and 14 deg temp.
The southerly had produced Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects some fun knee to waist high waves running from out in the bay all the way into Myola creek. At Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects times it was crowded with up to 10 SUP’s out there at a time, but the vibe in the water Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects was great with everyone cheering each other on!! The 8’5 Pocket Rocket was the hit board for many on the Proscar 5 Mg Side Effects day closely followed by the Whopper.
Thanks to Arnold and all his family and friends for putting on a great day.
